Nickels spin freely on the cement
Anything that sparkles is allowed in society
The elephants eat the peanuts,
but never to entertain a crowd
The breeze is blowing,
but beauty is still something
only their eyes have beheld
There’s a child out of line,
but teacher will set his mind to conformity
So cage all of the other apes,
then watch our cousins go insane
Why is weakness
such an attractive imperfection?
Kids adore the zoos;
frail minds believe they have to
Their originality is chipped away at
by what only works for a few;
being shackled to oneness,
and made to walk on broken legs
